While watching the videos, think about the following questions:

Who are the advertisers?
What are they advertising?
What is the aim of the advertising? 
What techniques are the advertisers using?
Who are they aiming at? (market audience)
Do you think they have been successful?

Commercial, advertising,  dissuasive impact, persuasive, persuade, deterrent, successful, unsuccessful, advertisers, inform, 

Dissuasive impact- Is a deterrent. 
Deterrent- trying to stop someone from doing something. For example Green peace adverts and cigarette packaging are deterrents.

Persuade- convince someone to do something. Influence.

Consumer- buyer

Brand- Nike, adidas, Chanel etc.

Spelling ing words

Rules

CVC words - double the final consonant 

hit- hitting, 


Words ending in E- take off the e and add ing

create- creating
persuade- persuading


Words ending in y- just add ing


The rest- just add ing
